Economic cooperation

Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the Governments of the Republic of Moldova and Greece put forward a task to create necessary conditions for expanding bilateral cooperation especially in the economic and trade field.

The two countries have already signed a number of important bilateral agreements, thus, ensuring a solid legislative base for the development of commercial and economic dialog. The following treaties are worth noting:

Commercial-economic relations

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova, during January-September 2018, the volume of trade amounted to USD 44.5 million. Compared to the same period of 2017, the volume increased with 13.5%.

Goods import in January-September 2018 amounted 18 USD million and increased with 1.1% over the same period of 2017. Exports amounted 17.8 USD million during the reference period, registering an increase of 23.8%.
